What is Health Through Warmth?

Health Through Warmth offers help to people in England and Wales who have long-term illnesses and are finding it hard to fully fund heating systems, repairs and insulation in their homes.

People don’t have to be an npower customer to get help from the scheme, but we will need to ask some questions to find out if they qualify for help.

Read our Health Through Warmth report (PDF, 8187KB)to find out more about the scheme and the success so far.

Why we're doing this

People who actually need help are often the least likely to ask for it. By working with community professionals, we can offer practical help and advice about heating and insulation to the people who need it most.

That’s why we have close ties with East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Leicester City Council, Energy Projects Plus, Barnsley Metropolitan Council, Derbyshire County Council, Home Improvement and Care and Repair Agencies, Foundations and Care and Repair Cymru, as well as with community workers, charities, other local authorities and the NHS.
