It's business as usual

The good news for you is that for now there's no change to your npower account, your payments or your energy supply. It’ll take a while before all of our customers can be supplied by E.ON, and we’re working hard to make the changeover as smooth as possible for you.

Questions about npower and E.ON

We've put together some common questions and answers to help you understand how you might be affected by the changeover.

Questions about npower and E.ON

Changes to our privacy notice

As part of getting ready for you to be supplied by E.ON, we’ve made some updates to our privacy notice. The changes take effect from 3 January 2020 and don't negatively affect you as a customer. You'll receive a letter or email, summarising these changes, which we encourage you to read through.

For more information on how we look after our customer data, please see our privacy notice in full. If you want to understand more about how E.ON looks after its customers’ data you can read E.ON's privacy notice on their website .

How E.ON will deal with your consent preferences

We’re going to pass on the marketing and Smart consent preferences you've chosen to E.ON, and they will continue to process this information for the same purposes as we do now. If anything changes in the future they'll let you know.

We're also going to share with E.ON any information we may have recorded about health (for example any disabilities) you or a member of your household may have, so that once you've transferred over to E.ON they're able to continue to provide any priority services you may have agreed to, and offer appropriate extra support where needed. To update this information, please contact us.

Change your preferences

If you don’t want us to share this information, or you want to check or change your preferences, you can log in to your online account or contact us to make any changes. Remember you can change your mind at any time.

If you don't already have one, it's easy to activate your online account now.
