Things you need to know
Do I have to pay an excess?
Policies are available with different excess levels. The prices shown above are based on a £99 excess, but you can change or remove this if you prefer. The higher the excess you choose, the lower the price of your policy.
You’ll be protected against the cost of any repair work and parts, up to the cost of £1,500, and if you make a claim you’ll have to pay any excess if applicable.
Who provides the cover?
These boiler and central heating cover policies are provided by Allianz Global Assistance, in association with npower. You won’t be able to find these policies on the Allianz Global Assistance website, except by coming through the npower website first.
If you need to make a claim on your policy, you will need to contact Allianz Global Assistance directly, through their 24 hour UK helpline.
What if I change my mind?
In case you change your mind, you’ll have 28 days to cancel your policy without being charged any fees. You won’t be covered for boiler breakdowns during this time, unless you’ve renewed an existing policy.
