How do you manage the risks for coronavirus?

Managing risk is a key part of our Health and Safety management system. All businesses are required to undertake risk assessments by law.

A risk assessment involves thinking about what might cause harm to people and what reasonable steps we can take to prevent that harm. These steps are known as control measures.

We have a number of risk assessments considering different risks involved in our work. These are always shared with our workers who put the controls into practice when doing their job. During the coronavirus pandemic we have created a specific risk assessment thinking about how we control the risks associated with COVID-19 (PDF, 528 KB).
