I’m a new customer, when will I get my first bill or statement?

It depends how you pay for your energy, and when we received your opening meter readings, but usually we'll send your first bill or statement out as follows:

Monthly Direct Debit   

within 6 months of your opening meter reading 

Quarterly Direct Debit

within 3 months of your opening meter reading 

 Regular Payment Scheme

within 3 months of your opening meter reading 

 Receipt of Bill

within 3 months of your opening meter reading

 Prepayment

within 6 months of your opening meter reading

This may be slightly different, due to the availability of meter readers in your area.

If you're a monthly Direct Debit online customer, you'll also receive statements from us every 3 months so you can track how your energy consumption compares with your regular payments.  If you're an offline customer you will receive a statement once every 6 months unless you ask us to send you one every 3 months.

If you get your bills or statements online, we'll email you when your latest one is ready to view. You'll see a clear view of your balance, energy usage and any payments or refunds in your simple bill summary. You'll also be able to download  your full bill or statement, if you prefer.
