I have a Smart meter - why have I received an estimated bill?

There are two reasons why you may have received an estimated bill:

1.     If you've only recently had your Smart meter installed the bill may have been created before we started taking automatic readings. Once your account is updated with your Smart meter details you should start getting bills based on accurate readings.
2.     If we've been unable to take automatic readings from your meter because of a problem with the signal. To stop this from happening, please make sure there isn't anything obstructing the meter.

If you do receive an estimated bill you can read your Smart meter and send us your meter readings online.
