How much energy have I used since my last Smart bill?

If you are an online customer simply log into your online account and go to bills and payments to use our cost of energy calculator. This will tell you how much your energy has cost you since your last bill. If you aren’t online you can call to find out 0800 980 9907 or 0330 100 8137.

Energy Calculator: How it works

The calculator shows you how much energy your energy has cost you since your last bill and when your next bill is due. This allows you to stay in control of your energy use. For the calculator to work you need to have had at least one energy bill from us.

My last bill was an estimate

Don’t worry - now you have a Smart meter, we will automatically be able to update your bill with the energy that you have used. You can log into your online account and see your cost of energy from when the Smart meter was fitted. This may take up to 30 days.

I haven’t had a bill yet

As a Smart customer you should be billed within a month of having your meter installed. After this time you will be able to find out how much your energy has cost since your Smart meter was fitted and how much it costs, by logging into your account and using the energy calculator. If you haven’t received a bill within 30 days, call us on 0800 980 9907 or 0330 100 8137.

Do I have to pay for my usage right now?

Our cost of energy calculator is just to help you keep track of what you’ve used between bills. You don’t have to pay for your usage right away but you can if you want to. You can either pay the amount shown on the calculator now or wait and pay for everything you’ve used when you get your next bill, it’s up to you.

Can’t see the cost of my energy

If you can’t see the cost of your energy usage on the calculator tool, then it will tell you when the information will be available(most likely within 30 days of your Smart meter installation).
