Find out how to pay for your business energy bills

How to pay your gas and electricity bill

There are a number of ways to pay your energy bills, it’s just a case of choosing which one is most convenient for your business.

Paying by Direct Debit

The benefit of a Fixed Direct Debit is that we estimate charges and spread the cost over a year, so payments are more manageable. Many of our customers choose to pay by monthly Direct Debit because it allows them to receive a regular monthly bill without any big surprises, and lets them stay on top of their business budget. Paying by cheque

Paying by credit/debit card

It’s quick and simple to pay by card, and most credit cards are accepted. Call our automated payment line on 0845 070 4666 – you’ll need to have your card and customer account number to hand. If we recently let you know that we’ve moved your account to our new billing system, or if you’re joining npower Business as a new customer, the number is 0330 100 8813.

Paying via internet banking

To make a direct transfer online from your bank account, quote our bank sort code 62-30-11, our bank account number 00000000 and your customer account number. Your bank may charge for this service.

Paying by Giroslip

Not already paying by Direct Debit? You can use the tear-off Giroslip at the bottom of your energy bill to pay by cash or cheque at a branch of your bank or at the Post Office. You'll avoid the surcharge on non-Direct Debit payments.
