Winter Wonderwheels is coming to town

To share in the season of goodwill, we’re proud to be teaming up with Britain’s first festive sporting event created especially for the disabled community – Winter Wonderwheels.

After linking up with the Superhero Series for the first time back in August, we’re thrilled to be partnering with this event to help more people with disabilities get involved in sport to celebrate World Disability Day on 3rd December.

Featuring 1km, 5km and 10km challenges set in the spectacular surroundings of Windsor’s Dorney Lake – Winter Wonderwheels  is open to people of all ages and disabilities. With no cut-off times or restrictions on how participants get around the course, the event is designed to be fun for everyone. And, of course, there will be plenty of extra festive surprises to enjoy along the way.

Gold medal winning Paralympian and Strictly Come Dancing star, Jonnie Peacock, will once again be there to lead Team npower. He’ll also be appearing alongside fellow Superhero Series ambassador and ‘Last Leg’ comedian, Adam Hills, and a host of superhero families to deliver a heart-warming team talk to inspire the competitors.

Winter Wonderwheels 2017 will take place at Dorney Lake on  3rd December. Sign up or find out more about the event here.
