Swindon and Solihull – the fun 10km runs!

At Swindon and in Solihull we had great turnouts at both 10K events. Very different weather conditions though, with Swindon being overcast (which suited some runners), but Solihull’s athletes basked in the sunshine – bringing smiles to everyone’s faces!

Starting and finishing in Lydiard Park, our Swindon event was won by Toby Erith who ran 10k in an impressive 38:58, closely followed by Martin Cole at 39:12 and Edward Porter at 40:09. While in Solihull, Grange Park was the starting point for Michael Swann – who won for the second year in a row, with a time of 39.20, chased down by James Johnson at 40.21 and Adrian Bond at 40.51.

And where are the ladies? Not far behind! Lauren Jauss came home in 50.22 at Swindon, while Tracey Worton was the first lady home in Solihull in an impressive 47.47.

Congratulations to everyone who took part, and huge ‘thanks’ to the volunteers, supporters and crowds who turned out to make these events so successful.
