Switch to Gas Home Heating

Get a grant of up to £1000 towards the cost*

Heating your home with coal, electricity or oil is like burning your money - it's not good for your pocket or the environment. By switching to gas home heating you could not only save up to £400# a year off your annual fuel bill but also get a grant worth up to £1000* towards the cost.

What are the benefits of switching to Gas Home heating?

  • Gas is less carbon intensive than coal or electricity which is good news for the environment.
  • It could reduce the cost of your energy bill. For an average 3 bed semi, a gas heating system will be about £400 cheaper to run each year# than coal or electric.
  • Gas heating is supplied continuously directly to the boiler, ready for when you want to use it. Compare this to coal which is heavy, dirty and requires storage space.
