Reaching new heights in fundraising
This year, npower employee Rob McLachlan mountain-biked over 400km in 6 days, at an altitude of between 12,000 and 14,500 feet throughout, all the way from Lake Titikaka to Cuzco, just below Machu Picchu in Peru, and raised over £2,900 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
It was a tough challenge because of the altitude but very satisfying. I can't wait for the next one - I've done Ecuador, Cambodia, Brazil and South Africa which were all really hard but great experiences
