How Juice works
Juice supports the generation of clean, greener electricity in a very simple way. We estimate every unit of electricity you'll use and feed the same amount of renewable electricity from renewable sources into the Electricity Network* - it's as easy as that.
The electricity that you receive is the same as usual, and will still power your fridge and TV. You will always have a constant supply, even if it isn't windy.
It's a straightforward and practical way for you to have your electricity supply matched with output from renewable sources at no extra cost.
In addition to its green benefits, for every customer that takes Juice, npower makes a contribution of £10 every year into the Juice Fund. The fund is then used to support community based renewable generation projects, which provide real environmental benefit through the reduction of carbon emissions. npower have committed to investing the fund into projects that will help to reduce carbon emissions by upto one tonne** per year for every customer currently taking Juice.
