Many customers find a prepayment meter a convenient way to pay for their gas. Prepayment meters let you pay the standing charge and for gas as you use it. It can also be used to collect an amount each week to cover any money you owe us.

A prepayment meter is often the best way of paying money you owe us. We will always agree with you the amount the meter will collect each week depending on how much you can afford. The meter will be reset once your debt has been paid off.
If your supply goes off because of a fault with the meter we will endeavour to call out the same day. If you are away from home the prepayment meter will continue to collect the standing charge and any amount you owe us. You need to make sure there is enough credit on the meter before you go away to cover these charges.
