Payment methods
Your bills are produced every three months. These bills are based on your previous meter reading and either a recent reading taken by us, a meter reading provided by you or an estimated reading.
Remember - the best way to pay is by monthly Direct Debit. Pay for both fuels this way throughout the year and we'll give you a £100* annual discount.

Either or both of your bills can be paid in the following ways:
By post
Make your cheque payable to npower, sign and date it and post to the address shown on your bill.
At any bank or building society
Simply take your cash or cheque and the payment slip at the bottom of your bill into a local bank or building society. Please note you may be charged for this service at some branches.
At any Payzone convenience store or post office.
You can pay free of charge with our payment card.
Monthly Direct Debit
Take npower gas and electricity and pay by monthly Direct Debit throughout the year and receive a £100 annual discount* on your npower fuel bills. Take one fuel, paying by monthly Direct Debit throughout the year, and you'll receive an annual £20 discount*. All you have to do is give us your bank account details and we'll do the rest.
Quarterly Direct Debit
Take npower gas and electricity and pay by quarterly Direct Debit throughout the year and receive a £40 annual discount* on your npower fuel bills. Take one fuel, paying by quarterly Direct Debit throughout the year, and you'll receive an annual £10 discount*. All you have to do is give us your bank account details and we'll do the rest.
Prepayment meter
Prepayment meters let you pay for your gas and electricity as you use it with a fixed amount each week to cover the standing charge.

Log in to My npower and pay your bill online.
Electricity bill only:
You can pay a regular sum each month by Direct Debit or by cheque or cash using a payment card. If you take npower gas and electricity and pay by monthly Direct Debit throughout the year you'll receive a £100 annual discount*. Take one fuel and you'll receive an annual £20 discount*. Through Girobank
If you have a Girobank account, fill in the transfer form and send it to Girobank.
Gas bill only:
Payment Card
You can make payments weekly, fortnightly or monthly by using a plastic payment card at local Payzone convenience stores and post offices. The payments made can vary and will go towards your gas bill.
