Association of Energy Suppliers (AES) Code of Practice for the Face-to-Face Marketing of Energy Supply

npower is committed to providing a quality service to their customers. As part of this, npower is a member of the Association of Energy Suppliers (AES) which promotes the best practice of energy selling in the industry.

The AES has produced a code of practice for face-to-face energy sales which ensures that npower continues to provide its customers with excellent service and advice.

The code is an important example of our commitment to tackle energy mis-selling. The code has been developed in close co-operation with the government, the industry regulator Ofgem, and consumer bodies.

The code of practice will benefit our customers by ensuring that there is rigorous selection and training of sales agents, providing added protection to residential consumers. Compensation is also offered if there is a failure to meet specific standards.
