Running a responsible business
To be a truly responsible company, every part of our business needs to operate responsibly, every day. Making sure this happens is a complex task, and one that requires us to focus on six key areas:
- The UK’s move to a low-carbon economy
- Environmental management
- Our customers
- Our supply chain
- Our workplace
- Our community
In this section we look at how we approach our responsibilities in each of these important areas. We explain what we’re currently doing to fulfil them, what we achieved in 2009, and the targets we’ve set ourselves in the future.
Finally, we also explain how we integrate CR into the day-to-day running of our business, and how we manage CR issues as they arise.
