Ray Mears launches Climate Cops SOS 2012

Click here to enter in three easy steps...

1. PUT TOGETHER YOUR CLIMATE COPS SOS TEAM

Your school needs to be based in England or Wales and you will need 10 motivated Year 7 students (your ‘Climate Cops’) from the current academic year and a willing teacher.

2. FILM YOUR CLIMATE COPS SOS

Your team has until 29 June 2012 to make a 3-5 minute film on DVD about a Climate Cops SOS project that you have run. DVDs should be in Quick Time Player, VLC Media Player or Windows Media Player format.

You will need to devise and implement a group activity which encourages your peers to go outside and enjoy the great outdoors. We’ll be looking for entries which use creative thinking to get fellow students and friends to enjoy activities outside. This could be anything from setting up a fun after school club to implementing a project that teaches your friends about nature.

Your film needs to bring the activity to life – tell us how many people got involved and what they did. Aim to make the film as interesting and engaging as possible.

3. COMPLETE THE ENTRY FORM AND READ THE TERMS & CONDITIONS
