All our schemes are designed to help you make the most of your talents, so that you can help us make more of our business. And whichever one you decide to go for, you can be sure you’ll be surrounded by people who are among the best in their field.
From the moment you join us on one of our schemes, you’ll be assigned your very own mentor and buddy. They’ll already have a wealth of experience in your area of interest, and will be able to give you help and advice. You’ll also be supported to take associated professional qualifications, and can apply to do any of our internal or external courses.
Learn, develop, grow
We are committed to ensuring that you start out on a world-class development scheme. After all, what else would you expect from Britain’s brightest energy company?
On joining, you’ll attend a week long residential induction scheme that may include meeting the CEO on your first day. And by the end of the week you’ll have your personal development plan (PDP) that is for you to take away, use on your first placement and direct your own development.
In addition, you’ll have an individual development timetable that will include details on further courses that you, with other graduates, are invited to attend – including a week long residential skills development workshop . These will give you basic grounding in skills such as managing stakeholders, presentation and networking. And that’s not all; every graduate is involved in our corporate responsibilty programme.
After that? Well, just because the scheme has ended doesn’t mean the development stops. World class development exists for all our employees – you’ll be learning for life.
