future leaders
npower Future Leaders’, an exciting competition now in its second year, challenges teams of four students to conceive, develop and deliver a project which will positively impact living sustainability within their local community.
Following last year’s competition, in March 2010 a team of four winners from the University of Bristol embarked upon a once in a lifetime trip to the Antarctic to assist with projects run by the 2041 organisation.

Essential Details –
To enter the competition, 4 people must
- form a team
- submit an idea (10 teams will be selected to progress)
- participate in a team building exercise
- submit a DVD showing the delivery of the idea
- be available for the prize trip in April 2011
The prize is a dog sledding trip in the Arctic for 2 teams.
The competition will run between May and December 2010, teams are asked to pre-register their entry by June 4th 2010 (entries will be accepted until July 8th).
Teams may comprise students from any year/discipline, however, all must be from the same university and registered as a student during the academic year 2010-2011.
