Who are we?
For those of you that don't know the first thing about us, we are a leading integrated UK energy company.
We supply gas, electricity and related services to homes and businesses across the UK and operate and manage a flexible portfolio of coal, oil and gas-fired power stations. We operate a portfolio of combined heat and power (cogeneration) plant and, through RWE Power International, provide specialist services in relation to power generation and mining to third parties.
In addition, RWE npower renewables, part of RWE Innogy, leads the UK wind power market and are also leaders in hydroelectric generation.
It's a huge operation, and running it takes over 12,700 employees at sites across the UK.
We’re part of the RWE Group, one of Europe’s leading utilities, who are active in the generation, transmission, sale and trading of electricity and gas across Europe.
