SPI npower is the specialist mechanical and electrical installation and maintenance services business within npower's energy services division. SPI works primarily in the social housing, public building, and commercial sector, delivering mechanical and electrical services for Local Housing Authorities and Housing Associations, in public buildings (such as schools and libraries), and in commercial buildings.

SPI employs around 500 people predominantly in the Midlands and Wales. SPI, which has been operating for over 40 years, became part of npower in January 2009. Through its energy services division, npower now offers high quality home energy services across both private and social housing sectors and has a growing presence in commercial energy services.
