If you are a power user looking to take supply from an embedded generator, or vice versa, npower could facilitate a Third Party Netting relationship that balances the financial and environmental ambitions of both parties.
This works by allowing the power purchaser to ‘net’ or ‘sleeve’ the generation energy volume at the same wholesale price as the equivalent supply contract volume. The purchasing party is then able to benefit from the credentials of the direct supply, which is usually renewable, while the supplying party gains a market price for generated volume.
npower’s Generation Services team may be able introduce third-party small-scale generators and supply customers to each other for the purpose of PPA sleeving.
