If you are served by an independent gas transporter's (IGT) network (i.e. not National Grid Gas) the first 4572 units of gas used per annum will be charged at a slightly increased price. This is because it costs us more to supply gas to your home as, not only do we need to pay National Grid Gas for the use of some of their network, but we also have to pay the IGT.
If the M number shown on your bill is 10 digits long and begins with 74 through to 77, you are supplied by an IGT. Use the table below to find out which IGT transports gas to your property.
