npower juice is electricity that is 100% matched with renewable sources, at no extra cost to you. We make sure that at the end of the year, through regularly estimating your consumption that we have provided enough clean, renewable energy to cover what you’ve used.
npower also invests on your behalf through the Juice fund, to support community based renewable generation projects, which help make a positive difference which would not have otherwise have happened, which in turn, helps to support our additional Ofgem Green Supply Guidelines environmental commitment. Tens of thousands of households have already made the switch from standard electricity to npower juice, and the great news is that it costs no more than npower's standard electricity with no premiums.

Global warming is occurring because the planet is heating up as the result of too much carbon dioxide being released into the atmosphere. A major source of carbon comes from burning fossil fuels for energy – for example, to heat our homes or run our cars. The carbon rises up to the earth’s upper atmosphere where it acts like an insulating coat, reflecting heat from the sun back to the earth’s surface.
This is beginning to have an effect on our climate with potentially damaging consequences. For example, ice caps are starting to melt at the Poles, which could cause sea levels to rise, and higher temperatures and less rainfall are being recorded in areas which already suffer from drought.
Juice: npower Juice is electricity that is 100% matched with renewable sources....at no extra cost to you... The electricity you receive remains the same. npower matches every unit of normal electricity you use and feeds the same amount, generated from renewable sources, back into the electricity network. We estimate your Juice consumption regularly, which helps us make sure that, at the end of the year we’ve provided enough clean, renewable energy to cover what you’ve used. Simple. In addition, for every Juice customer we have, npower contributes a donation of £10/person to the Juice Fund for every year our customers continue to use Juice. The Juice fund is then used to support community based renewable generation projects, which provide a real environmental benefit.
