npower calls you to
catch up with the coolest curriculum in the world!

As part of npower’s education and environmental commitment, we are excited to have partnered with 2041, to help young people understand how we can all help to combat the effects of climate change. Together, we will be promoting the importance of recycling, renewable energy and living sustainably.

2041 was founded by polar explorer and environmental leader Robert Swan, OBE. He was the first person in history to walk to both the North and South Poles. Robert Swan has dedicated his life to the preservation of Antarctica.

To help you bring these important topics to life for 9 to 11 year olds click here. These curriculum resources inform learners about Antarctica, provide practical activities and hands-on investigations about renewable technologies and sustainable living, and inspire learners (both individually and collectively) to make a positive difference to their world and Antarctica.

Future Leaders — npower’s UK wide search for young Antarctic explorers Later this year, we will be looking for the UK's top 4 keenest, greenest university students to accompany Robert Swan on the 2010 Antarctic expedition. Click here to find out more.
